Tamiko McCullough

Instructional Support Specialist

Tamiko McCullough is an Instructional Support Specialist at the Natural Learning Initiative, where she supports course development, applies her expertise to course content, and manages participant forum discussions. She also serves as the Healthy Initiative Coordinator at Wake County Smart Start (North Carolina) assisting child care centers and family child care homes with implementing and evaluating the Preventing Obesity by Design (POD) program. In this role, she supports the naturalization of outdoor learning environments by promoting awareness of fruits and vegetables and providing guidance on garden management and outdoor educational programming. Tamiko holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relations from North Carolina Central University. With over 20 years of experience working with young children and families, she is committed to creating nurturing spaces that promote children’s growth and development.
