NEW! The NC State University Natural Learning Initiative is seeking an outstanding PhD in Design applicant to work on sponsored research in the broad field of children's outdoor environments with three-year support (tuition, health, and stipend) from the NLI Research Assistantship in Inclusive Design and Wellbeing. Applicants should hold a professionally accredited design degree, preferably in landscape architecture.

PhD In Design Students

Professor Robin Moore, NLI Director, is seeking prospective PhD in Design students to contribute to the NLI research agenda and help grow the children's environments knowledge base. The field of interest ranges across early childhood, family, school, and neighborhood settings and nonformal education environments such as zoos, children's gardens and museums. Children's environments include the spaces lived in and used by people birth to eighteen in both Northern and Southern hemispheres. If interested, contact Professor Moore.
