Charlotte Kennedy is a research assistant at NLI and holds a BA in Business from Covenant College on Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. Since graduating in 2014, she’s explored teaching in both environmental education as well as traditional classroom settings. Now currently enrolled in NC State’s MLA program, she hopes to combine her love for entrepreneurship, design, and education to help develop better outdoor spaces for children.
Charlotte grew up curating a little garden and catching critters such as blue crabs, lizards, and butterflies in Annapolis, Maryland. Seeing how influential that time was, she hopes to champion greater access to green space for children of all ages.
